The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1 Board of Directors held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
- Acceptance of the August 20, 2024, SD1 Board of Directors regular meeting minutes.
- Awarded a contract for the Ohio River Nutrient Model Collaboration services to LimnoTech for the estimated total cost of $160,000.
- Awarded a contract for the construction of the Lakeview EQ Tank and Wet Weather Pump Station Facility to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Dugan & Meyers, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $26,142,000.
- Awarded contracts for the Professional Surveying MSA to all proposers, Bayer Becker, Inc., Cardinal Engineering Corporation, CT Consultants, Inc., DLZ Kentucky, Inc., GRW Aerial Surveys Inc., James W. Berling Engineering, PLLC, Jones-Warner Consultants, Inc., Prime AE Group, Inc., RA Consultants, LLC., and Viox & Viox, Inc., for the costs submitted in their proposals.
- Awarded a contract for the construction of the Northern Boone County Gravity Phase IAi to Midwest Mole, Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $4,573,559, with the understanding that a minimum of $700,000 in value engineering shall be deducted from the contract after bid acceptance.
- Approved five new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
- Approved the listed assets as surplus property and authorized staff to proceed with their disposal through public auction once the replacements are received.
