The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1 Board of Directors held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
- Acceptance of the March 19, 2024, SD1 Board of Directors regular meeting minutes and March 14, 2024, Special Board meeting minutes.
- Awarded contracts for the construction of the Main & McKinney Outfalls Flap Gate Installation to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Larry Smith Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid for a total of $412,875.
- Awarded a contract for the construction of the Aqua on the Levee Headwall Emergency Repair to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Sunesis Construction Co., in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $487,377.01.
- Awarded a contract for the purchase of 38% Sodium Bi-Sulfite to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Brenntag Mid-South Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $129,750.
- Approved five new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
