The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1 Board of Directors held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

  1. Acceptance of the December 16, 2025, SD1 Board of Directors regular meeting minutes.
  2. Awarded a contract for the Newport Festival Park Conveyance Solution Design-Build to the proposer whose proposal is the best value for the District, Dugan & Meyers LLC., for the Stage 1 cost and Design-Builders fee for Stage 2 services, submitted in their proposal. 
  3. Awarded a contract for the Licking River Tunnel Solution Design Services to the proposer whose proposal is the best value for the District, AECOM, for the negotiated costs for a total of $13,312,000.02. 
  4. Approved the change order for the Brookwood SSO Services with Palmer Engineering for $33,455.00.
  5. Approved the change order to perform additional modeling and construction administrations services for the Willow Run Watershed Detention Basin Retrofit with Gresham Smith for the quoted cost of $21,441.25.
  6. Approved nine new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity. 
  7. Approved the Stormwater Public Cost-Share Program with the City of Southgate located at Blossom Lane & Valley View Drive for a total SD1 cost of $69,500.00.
