[ARCHIVED] Summary: SD1 Board of Directors July Meeting

The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1 Board of Directors held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

  1. Acceptance of the June 17, 2025, SD1 Board of Directors regular meeting minutes. 
  2. Awarded the task of design for the Riverpointe and Grant Park Detention Basins Retrofit engineering services to the proposer whose proposal is the best value for the District, GRW, for the unit costs submitted in their proposal for a total of $116,952.65.
  3. Awarded a contract for the Licking River Tunnel Solution Owner’s Representative Services to Aldea Services, Inc., at the hourly rates provided and authorize procurement for up to $12,825,326.38 in total services, released in phases as outlined in board memo.
  4. Awarded a contract for the Newport Festival Park Design-Build Owner Advisor Services to the proposer offering the best value to the District, Brown and Caldwell, in the amount of $1,248,770.00.
  5. Awarded a contract to both proposers for the Vertical Asset Renewal & Emergency Services for the pricing submitted in their proposals - Larry Smith, Inc. and Structural and Process Services.
  6. Awarded a contract for the Internet, VPLS and Telephone Services to Altafiber Telecommunications Company for the monthly cost submitted in their quote for a total of $83,880 annually.
  7. Approved four new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
