The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1 Board of Directors held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
- Acceptance of the May 20, 2025, SD1 Board of Directors regular meeting minutes.
- Awarded a contract for the 24 Crown Point Sanitary Sewer Replacement to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, SmithCorp, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $406,521.00.
- Awarded a contract for the Pipe & Fittings to two bidders for the amounts listed in their bids – Ferguson Waterworks in the amount of $29,549.21: Core and Main Ohio in the amount of $117,939.87.
- Approved three new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
- Approved the proposed resolution accepting the supplemental grant for the Northern Boone County Phase IAi of $2,253,809.00, approved the supplemental grant assistance agreement, and designated the Senior Director of Engineering as the “authorized official” to sign all related documents.
- Approved the proposed SD1 Board regular meeting dates and the Board Working Group meeting dates for Fiscal Year 2026.
- Election for Fiscal Year 2026 Board executive positions were held during the meeting. The following Board members were elected to a one-year term: Jason Finch, President; Robert Horine, Vice President; Katie Nolan, Secretary and Russ Horsley, Treasurer.
