The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1 Board of Directors held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

  1. Acceptance of the March 18, 2025, SD1 Board of Directors regular meeting minutes.

  2. Awarded a contract for the purchase of 48% - 50% Aluminum Sulfate to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Univar Solutions USA LLC, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $73,920.00.

  3. Awarded a contract for the construction of the Maple Tree and Bluegrass Sewer Extension Phase I to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Howell Contractors, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $1,559,203.50.

  4. Awarded a contract to all proposers for the Facilities and Collections Engineering Planning MSA for the rates submitted in their proposals – AECOM; Black & Veatch; CEC; Gresham Smith; Hazen & Sawyer; Jacobs; Mason Carr; Strand; Thoroughbred; Viox & Viox; Arcadis; Brown & Caldwell; DLZ; GRW; Inflo Design; Jones Warner; Mott MacDonald; Sustainable Streams; Verdantas; Wade Trim.

  5. Awarded a contract to all proposers for the Professional Engineering Design, Project Mgmt, Construction Mgmt, & Inspections for the rates submitted in their proposals – GRW; Brown & Caldwell; Gonzalez Comp; DLZ Kentucky, Gresham Smith, Thoroughbred Eng, CEC, Inc.; Black & Veatch; WSP Kentucky; AECOM; Hazen & Sawyer; Strand Assoc.; Viox & Viox; Sustainable Streams; Verdantas; Jacobs; Jones Warner; Palmer Eng; Cardinal Eng; Tetra Tech; Inflo Design; Wade Trim; Berling; Mason Carr; Arcadis; Clear Consulting; Clark Dietz; Bayer Becker; IDE.

  6. Awarded the task of designing Lake Park Dr. Sanitary Sewer Upsizing to the proposer whose proposal is the best value for the District, Mason Carr, for the unit costs submitted in their proposal, in the amount of $115,347.20.

  7. Awarded the task of designing Willow Run RTC Diversion Project to the proposer whose proposal is the best value for the District, Gresham Smith, for the unit costs submitted in their proposal, in the amount of $696,058.00.

  8. Approved three new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
