The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1 Board of Directors held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

1. Acceptance of the June 18, 2024, SD1 Board of Directors regular meeting minutes.
2. Approved a resolution authorizing the Executive Director to execute the KYTC contract in the amount of $2,072,600 for the KY9 Stormwater Outfall Project.
3. Awarded a contract for the construction of the Alvin Drive Gravity Sanitary Sewer Extension to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, SmithCorp, Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $850,000.
4. Awarded the design of the Licking River Siphon Phase III Sanitary Sewer Upsizing to the proposer whose proposal is the best value for the District, CT Consultants, for the costs submitted in its proposal, for a total of $185,668.
5. Awarded a contract for the purchase of the Primary Sludge Pump Control Panels to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Corporate Equipment Company, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $101,255.
6. Awarded a contract for the purchase of Sodium Hypochlorite to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Chemicals Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $1,072,100.
7. Awarded the Special Inspections & Testing for EQ & Upsizing Projects to the proposer whose proposal is the best value for the District, Geotechnology, for the costs submitted in their proposal, for a total of $607,099.
8. Approved eight new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
