Board Meeting Summary – August 15, 2023


The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1  Board of Directors held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.


1. Acceptance of July 15, 2023, SD1 Board of Directors meeting minutes.  

2Approved the Joint Funding Agreement for NKY Continuous Monitoring Network with the United States Geological Survey which designates SD1’s contribution in the amount of $230,100.

3. Awarded a contract for the Annual Support Renewal for the Laserfiche software to MCCI for a cost of $50,560.75.

4. Awarded a contract for design services of the Susan Lewis Drive Storm and Sanitary Improvements to the lowest responsible bidder, CEC, Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of        $132,737. 

5. Awarded a contract for the Collection Systems Rehabilitation Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining to the lowest responsible bidder, Miller Pipeline, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of        $4,567,111.34. 

6. Approved the purchase of the 2014 Freightliner Tanker Truck, which will replace trucks V-19 & V-65 in SD1’s fleet, from Fyda Freightliner in the amount of $133,000. 

7. Approved four new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
