The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No. 1 Board of Directors held Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
- Accepted the March 21, 2023, SD1 Board of Directors meeting minutes.
- Awarded a contract for the Licking River Siphon Conveyance Compensatory Mitigation project to the lowest responsible bidder, Stantec, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $220,555.
- Awarded a contract for design services for the Route 8 Ludlow Sanitary Sewer Extension to the lowest responsible bidder, Jones Warner, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $148,520.81.
- Awarded a contract for design services for the Bromley Headworks Abandonment to the lowest responsible bidder, Hazen & Sayer, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $330,000.
- Approved four new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
- Approved the Storm Water Public Cost-share Program projects with the City of Independence at Falcon Ridge and the City of Edgewood at Ashley Drive and N. Colony Drive for a total SD1 cost share of $374,845.
