The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No. 1 Board of Directors held Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
- Acceptance of the February 21, 2023, SD1 Board of Directors meeting minutes.
- Awarded a contract for the purchase and installation of SD1 Main Office HVAC hardware, to the lowest responsible bidder, Triton Services Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid, $170,492.
- Awarded a contract for design services for the Lakeview EQ Tank and Wet Weather Pump Station to the lowest responsible bidder, Tetra Tech, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $367,301.
- Awarded a contract for design services for the Madison Pike Sanitary Sewer Upsize South of the Lakeview EQ Tank to the lowest responsible bidder, GPD Group, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $167,174.
- Awarded a contract for design services for the Maple Tree and Bluegrass Gravity Sanitary Sewer Extension to the lowest responsible bidder, GPD Group, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $256,906.
- Awarded a contract for design build services for the McKinney Avenue and Main Street Flood Stations switchgear replacements to the lowest responsible bidder, Wells Engineering, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $381,530.
- Awarded a contract for mowing services to the lowest responsible bidder, Szabo Projects, at the unit prices submitted with its bid, for a total of $84,079. A secondary contract with Merkle Lawn Care Company was also awarded at the unit prices submitted with its bid.
- Three new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity were approved.
