The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No. 1 Board of Directors held Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
- Acceptance of the January 17, 2023, SD1 Board of Directors meeting minutes.
- Awarded a contract for Concrete & Flowable Fill to the lowest responsible bidder, Ideal Supplies, in the amount submitted with their bid, for a total of $316,340.
- Awarded a contract for the purchase for the Dry Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Water Strainer to the lowest responsible bidder, R.P. Adams, in the amount submittedwith their bid, for a total of $148,152.
- Awarded a contract for design services for the Tank 1 EQ Madison Pike at Hands Pike and Wayman Branch to the lowest responsible bidder, Wade Trim, in the amount submitted with their bid, for a total of $349,942.
- Awarded a contract for design services for the Alvin Drive Gravity Sanitary Sewer Extension to the lowest responsible bidder, Mason Carr Civil Engineering, in the amount submitted with their bid, for a total of $103,601.
- Awarded a contract for design services for the Walnut Hall and Peach Drive Gravity Sewer Extension and Low-Pressure Force Main to the lowest responsible bidder, Palmer Engineering, in the amount submitted with their bid, for a total of $182,920.
- Awarded a contract for design services for the Crawford Sanitary Sewer Extension and Pump Station to the lowest responsible bidder, Jones Warner, in the amount submitted with their bid, for a total of $102,030.86.
- Approved six new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
- Approved a Storm Water Public Cost-share Program project with the City of Crestview Hills at Vernon Drive for a total SD1 cost share of $161,863.
