The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No. 1 Board of Directors held Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
- Acceptance of the February 15, 2022, minutes of the SD1 Board of Directors meeting.
- Awarded contract for the US 27/AA Highway Sanitary Sewer Improvements Phase II construction project to Brackney Inc., at the unit price submitted with its bid - $10,340,641.80.
- Awarded an engineering services contract for the Waterworks Road Sanitary Sewer Improvements, Phase IV project to Cardinal Engineering in the amount submitted with its bid - $104,605.
- Awarded a contract for the Dry Creek Lakeview Headworks Screenings Press Replacement to Parkson Corp., for two Aqua Wash presses in the amount submitted with its bid - $136,750.
- Reservation of Capacity: four new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity were approved by the SD1 Board of Directors.

About SD1
SD1 is responsible for the collection and treatment of northern Kentucky’s wastewater and also serves as the regional storm water management agency. SD1 is the second largest public sewer utility in Kentucky, serving more than 339,000 residents throughout Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties. SD1 maintains approximately 1,685 miles of sanitary-sewer system pipeline, 125 wastewater pumping stations, 15 flood pump stations, six package treatment plants, three major wastewater treatment plants, 433 miles of storm-sewer system and 32,300 storm-sewer structures.
