The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No. 1 Board of Directors held Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

1. Recognition for Bob Schroder, former SD1 board member, for his 12 years of service on the Board and his commitment to the northern Kentucky community. 
2. Acceptance of the fiscal year 2021 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, an audit of SD1’s financial statements for that year, which was performed by VonLehman and Co. Inc. The Government Finance Officers Association awarded SD1 a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for fiscal year 2021.
3. Acceptance of the minutes of the November 2021 Board of Directors meeting. 
4. Awarded a contract for Concrete and Flowable Fill to Ideal Supply, Inc. of Ludlow in the amount submitted with its bid – $235,467.50.
5. Awarded a contract for the Generate and Mail Bill Statements & Notices service to Bluegrass Integrated Communications of Lexington in the amount submitted with its bid – $523,251.15.
6. Awarded a contract for engineering services for the PLC Replacement at Major Treatment Plants and Pump Stations project to GRW Inc. in the amount submitted with its bid – $698,141.40.
7.  Awarded a contract for the engineering design and construction administration services for the Fitzgerald Phase II project to GPD Group of Louisville in the amount submitted with its bid – $194,560.
8.  Awarded a contract for the construction the River Water Intrusion Groups 2 & 3 Improvements Package to Larry Smith Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid – $2,345,000.
9. Awarded a contract for purchase of the River Water Intrusion Groups 2 & 3 Flap Gates to Rodney Hunt Company in the amount submitted with its bid – $137,972.
10. Awarded a contract for 30% design of the Dry Creek Mitigation Bank Instrument to Sustainable Streams LLC in the amount submitted with its bid – $780,000.
11. Reservation of Capacity. Three new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity were approved by the Board.
