Storm Water Fee Credits (Non-residential)

Storm water credits are available for non-residential property owners who implement measures that reduce the impacts of storm water runoff to storm drainage systems, combined sewer systems and receiving waters.

These measures are identified below:

  • Additional storm water management (detention/retention basins, bioswales, rain gardens, underground storage tanks, manufactured treatment devices, etc. that exceed requirements)
  • Storm water education awareness programs
  • KPDES Industrial Storm Water Discharge Permits
  • Discharge to major waterway

Any non-residential property owner who meets one or more credit requirements listed in the SD1 Storm Water Management Program Credit Policy (PDF), may apply for a reduction of the storm water fee applied to that specific account and applicable parcel(s) using the Storm Water Fee Credit Application (PDF). Non-residential properties include commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities, as well as multi-family condominium and apartment units.

For more information, see the SD1 Storm Water Management Program Credit Policy or contact us at info@sd1.org.
