Off-Site Mitigation Policy for Post-Construction Water Quality (PDF)This policy is for those development projects that cannot meet the post-construction water quality requirements in the separate and combined sewer system as outlined in Sections 702 and 802 of the SD1 Storm Water Rules and Regulations.
Post-Construction Best Management Practice Installation Certification (PDF)The Post-Construction Best Management Practice (BMP) Installation Certification is to be completed by the contractor during the construction and installation of post-construction BMPs to ensure BMPs are constructed in accordance with approved design plans. This is a requirements of the Phase II Storm Water Regulations.
Post-Construction Storm Water Facility Maintenance Agreement (PDF)
The Phase II Storm Water Regulations require SD1 and owners of new and redevelopment projects to enter into long-term maintenance agreements for post-construction BMPs. This maintenance agreement is for public entities outside the Commonwealth of Kentucky and for all private entities. One original executed agreements must be submitted with the Land Disturbance Permit application for approval. The form must be completed in its entirety or it will be returned for completion.
Storm Water Credit Policy (PDF)
This policy and procedure was created to provide credits (i.e. reductions) against the storm water surcharge for non-residential properties in an effort to provide equity and consistency in the application of the surcharge to individual properties.
Storm Water Fee Credit Application (PDF)This application must be completed when requesting a credit against the storm water fee for non-residential properties.
Storm Water PermitsStormwater permitting may be required for any alteration of the earth’s surface where natural or manmade ground cover is altered to ensure proper erosion and sediment control practices and the implementation of post-construction runoff controls in areas undergoing new development or re-development.
