SD1 Welcomes Andrew "Brad" Broering, 
Leonard Toles and David "Ryan" Wooten

Sanitation District No. 1 welcomes Brad Broering, Leonard Toles and David Wooten, each of whom started today in Plant Maintenance at Dry Creek. We sat down with each of them for a few minutes to learn a little more about them.

Andrew "Brad" Broering
Plant Maintenance, Dry Creek

Before coming to SD1, Brad installed hardwood floors. He is engaged to Avery (they’re getting married October 1, 2024) and has two mini Australian Shepherds - 3.5-year-old Moose and 1-year-old Sophia.

For fun, Brad likes hiking, fishing and any outdoors stuff. He’s also a member of the Bobwhite Club.  

His favorite move is Saving Private Ryan; his favorite restaurant is Longhorn Steakhouse; and his favorite vacation spot is Glenn Lake, Mich.

He is a native Kentuckian and currently lives in Covington.

Leonard Toles

Leonard Toles

Before coming to SD1, Leonard did maintenance work for many years, travelling all over Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. He is married (Trudy) and has two kids – son Lonnie and daughter Hollie. He also has a 4-year-old Doberman named Ripley (girl). 

For fun, Leonard likes to fish. His favorite movie is Lonesome Dove; his favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse; and his favorite vacation spot is his home in Mt. Orab.

David "Ryan" Wooten
Plant Maintenance Co-Op, Dry Creek

Before coming to the District, Ryan was a mover for the last six years. He got married to Alyssa on February 24 and last week he was baptized. He and Alyssa are planning a ceremony in a few months.

Ryan has two kids – Nova (6) and Zander (10 months). He moved here from Houston, Texas (where he was born and raised), about seven months ago.

For fun, Ryan likes to spend time with his kids. His favorite movie is Pulp Fiction and his favorite restaurant is Rudy’s.
