SD1 Welcomes Jacob Grimes

Sanitation District No. 1 welcomes Jacob Grimes to our team! Nick is a Pump Stations Maintenance Tech and started on Monday.

We sat down with Jacob for a few minutes to learn a little more about him.

Work Prior to SD1:

Prior to arriving at SD1, Jacob was a corrections officer at the Kenton County Jail and then most recently graduated from Lineman School.

Hobbies:

Jacob likes to bow hunt, fish, scuba dive, snow ski and travel. The last place he traveled to for snow skiing was Snowshoe, WV. He's been all over the world - Iceland, Ireland, Canada, Belize, Mexico, Scotland, Italy, Greece, France, Croatia and 43 states, including Alaska (just to name a few places.) 

Family:

Jacob is single and has no children or pets.

Favorite Restaurant:
Even though he loves fish, Skyline is his favorite restaurant.

Ask Jacob about his experiences at the jail. He's got stories!

Favorite Vacation Spot:

He says he can't have a favorite vacation spot until he's seen them all, but the most beautiful place he's been to so far is Iceland. His dream vacation is the Galapagos Islands.
