Nate Gerrety Promoted
to Pump Stations Manager

As part of our Strategic Business Plan Workforce Empowerment goal, SD1 is committed to hiring, training and developing top talent.

We believe strongly in promotion from within, and I am pleased to share that Nate Gerrety has been promoted to Pump Stations Manager. Nate was previously a Pump Stations Team Leader.

In his new role, Nate will oversee the maintenance and operations of pump and flood stations across the service area. He will collect data for benchmark and assessment activities, prepare and manage a departmental budget, and research and pilot innovative ways to proactively manage force mains.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing current members of our team grow and develop into new roles here at the District. Please be sure to congratulate Nate the next time you see him.
