Randy Schneider Promoted
to Director of Asset Management

As part of our Strategic Business Plan Workforce Empowerment goal, SD1 is committed to hiring, training and developing top talent.

We believe strongly in promotion from within, and I am pleased to share that Randy Schneider has been promoted to Director of Asset Management. Chris was previously an Asset Renewal Manager.

In his new role, Randy will oversee the asset management department by directing and coordinating the inventory, assessment and determination of assets in our treatment plants, pump stations and collection systems, fleet and facilities. He will initiate development and justification of annual and long-term capital improvement budgets and coordinate these budgets with Engineering and Finance.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing current members of our team grow and develop into new roles here at the District. Please be sure to congratulate Randy the next time you see him.
