to Pretreatment CoordinatorAs part of our Strategic Business Plan Workforce Empowerment goal, SD1 is committed to hiring, training and developing top talent.
We believe strongly in promotion from within, and I am pleased to share that Britney Carson has been promoted to Pretreatment Coordinator.
In her new role, Britney will oversee all aspects of pretreatment, including sampling and inspections; industrial permitting; the fats, oils and grease program; special meters; and the dental amalgam program. Britney will continue to optimize pretreatment activity scheduling, coordinate local limits evaluations and work closely with industrial customers to add value to their interactions with SD1.
"Britney’s promotion to Pretreatment Coordinator is a reflection of the hard work and personal development she’s put forth over her tenure in the Pretreatment Department," said Sarah Griffith, laboratory and pretreatment manager. "She has demonstrated effectiveness, responsibility, resourcefulness and a high degree of accountability and productivity in recent years. Britney embraces a continuous improvement mindset which has allowed her to implement strategic and effective changes to workflows, resulting in significant savings in pretreatment staffs' time and resources."
