SD1 Canned Food Drive - November 8-18

SD1 is hosting a nonperishable food drive in partnership with the Brighton Center from Tuesday, November 8, through Friday, November 18.

Staff are encouraged to bring any nonperishable food items to the Collection Systems Breakroom. A second drop-off location at Dry Creek will be added later this week.

Nonperishable items are foods that have been canned or preserved by heating or adding vinegar, alcohol or sugar. Powdered milk, powdered juice, and dehydrated rice are also nonperishable. Instant coffee, dried soup mixes, and the like are other types of nonperishable items.

Donated items will be delivered to the Brighton Center during the week of Thanksgiving.
