Who's Ready to Get Spooooooky Next Week?

A quick reminder that SD1 will host its second annual Trail of Terror staff pumpkin decorating contest next week - October 24-28. This is your chance to show off your creativity, impress (or terrify) your coworkers, and win great prizes! You've got about a month to plan your masterpiece, so we expect even more spectacular submissions this year!

Anyone interested will register their decorated pumpkin between 8 a.m. and noon on Monday, October 24 (see Janeen Rutherford), and Tuesday, October 25 (see Jenn Adamson). Your pumpkin will be assigned a number and placed along the walking trail at the Public Service Park. Staff at the treatment plants can bring your decorated pumpkins to Britney Carson, and she'll make sure they get placed on the trail as well. There is no limit to how many pumpkins a staff member can register - just keep everything rated PG.

Photos of each pumpkin will be posted on The Pipeline, and staff will have an opportunity to vote October 26-27. Winners will be announced on October 28 at 10 a.m. First prize is a $100 Amazon gift card; second prize is a $75 Amazon gift card; third prize is a $50 Amazon gift card; and three honorable mentions will be awarded a $25 gift card.

Pumpkins do NOT have to be carved - they can be painted or decorated any other way. The only limits are your own imagination.
