We'll See You Tonight at the Ballpark!

A final reminder that tonight, July 15, is SD1 Night with the Florence Y'alls. All SD1 staff and their families are invited to the Y'alls professional baseball game against the Joliet Slammers at 7:03 p.m. (Games typically last about two hours.)

SD1 will have the Party Patio at Thomas More Stadium (7950 Freedom Way, Florence). Free tickets will be available at a special will-call table set up in front of the stadium. All tickets to the general admission Party Patio will include free hot dots, soft drinks, chips and popcorn throughout the game. The Party Patio also includes a covered awning with picnic-style seating and is located down the first-base line.

Tonight is also Super Heroes Night! The Y'alls have teamed up with MARVEL to offer a commemorative comic poster and face mask to a limited number of fans, and are encouraging fans of all ages to come dressed like their favorite super hero. (Be sure to arrive early if you want a poster. Gates open at 6:03 p.m.)

There will also be a postgame fireworks show presented by McDonalds. And wait...there's more! Parking is free at the ballpark, which means you and your family can enjoy a night out without spending a dime. That's a pretty rare treat these days!

So gather the family and plan on heading to Thomas More Stadium tonight on SD1! Because to us, our staff are the real super heroes.
