Don't Be Afraid to Get a Little Creative this Halloween

SD1 is hosting a Trail of Terror staff pumpkin decorating contest this year, from October 25-28. It's your chance to show off your creativity, impress (or terrify) your coworkers, and maybe win a great prize!

Anyone interested should register their decorated pumpkin with Human Resources between 8 a.m. on Monday, October 25, and noon on Tuesday, October 26. HR will assign your pumpkin a number and then place it along the walking trail at the Public Service Park. Staff at the treatment plants can bring your decorated pumpkins to Janet Malone, and she'll make sure they get placed on the trail as well. There is no limit to how many pumpkins a staff member can register - just keep everything rated PG.

Photos of each pumpkin will be posted on The Pipeline, and staff will have an opportunity to vote October 27-28. Winners will be announced at noon on October 29. First prize is a $100 Amazon gift card; second prize is a $75 Amazon gift card; and third prize is a $50 Amazon gift card.

Pumpkins do NOT have to be carved - they can be painted or decorated any other way. The only limits are your own imagination.
