SD1 Continues to Monitor Evolving COVID-19 Situation

We continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation, particularly in light of last week's escalation of Campbell and Kenton counties to "red" status in Kentucky.

As noted last week, we have learned over the past several months that SD1 is well-equipped to keep our workplace safe and our staff healthy. We have developed Standard and Enhanced protocols, as outlined in the SD1 COVID-19 Flowchart.

To date, there have been five (5) confirmed cases of COVID-19 among SD1 staff.

As staff members continue to return to the office, it will be critical that we all remain committed to the established protocols, including wearing your mask, social distancing and washing your hands frequently.

Update of Weekly Confirmation of Daily Self-Screening

You may have noticed today that we have updated the language of our Weekly Confirmation that staff is conducting Daily Self-Screenings to match the SD1 COVID-19 Flowchart, which is available above and on the intranet under the COVID-19 tab.

You can use the flowchart as a reminder of the steps to take in your Daily Self-Screening, and to guide your next steps if you aren't sure whether or not you should report to work.

CDC Resources: Prevent Getting Sick

There are a number of helpful resources available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. For instance, the Prevent Getting Sick page has helpful information about how coronavirus spreads, how you can protect yourself and your family and how to properly clean and disinfect your home.
