Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
When: Saturday, November 2, 2024, 9 AM - 2 PM
Where: Thomas More Stadium, 7950 Freedom Way, Florence, KY 41042
Residents of Boone, Campbell and Kenton Counties are welcome to dispose of their household hazardous waste for FREE at this event. This event is brought to you by the Northern Kentucky Solid Waste Management Area and sponsored by Kentucky Division of Waste Management.
Items Accepted:
- Aerosol cans
- Antifreeze
- Batteries (all types)
- Electronics (PCs, laptops, cellphones, VCRs, cameras, headphones, etc.)
- Ink/toner cartridges
- Light bulbs (fluorescent tubes, CFLs, etc.)
- Oil/car fluids
- Oil paint (limit of 10 cans per vehicle)
- Pesticides
- Tanks/cylinders (propane, fire extinguisher, helium, acetylene, oxygen)
- TVs (limit of 2 per vehicle)
Items Not Accepted:
- Latex paint
- Appliances
- Fertilizer
- Medications
- Tires
- Ammunition
- Explosives
- Radioactives
- Trash/debris
- Furniture/mattresses
- Paper

You must have a registration form filled out. Go to SD1.org/HHW to print the form (you will be redirected to Campbell County's website).
