The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1 Board of Directors held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
- Acceptance of the October 17, 2023, SD1 Board of Directors meeting minutes.
- Awarded a contract for Electrical Engineering Services for Treatment Plants and Pump Station Power Stations to all three proposers in the amounts submitted with its bids. Elliot Engineering dba Wells Engineering in the amount of $194,826, Ohio Valley Electrical Services in the amount of $159,930 and RMS Energy Co, LLC, in the amount of $198,000.
- Awarded a contract for construction for the 2nd Street Bar Screen Modification & Gate Replacement construction to the lowest responsible bidder, Howell Contractors, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $596,850.
- Awarded a contract for the purchase of Diesel Generator Maintenance Services to the lowest responsible bidder, Buckeye Power Sales Co., in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $93,065.
- Awarded a contract for design for the Edna Lane Stormwater Improvements to the lowest responsible bidder, Palmer Engineering, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $169,090.
- Approved three new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
- Approved the Storm Water Public Cost-share Program with the City of Bellevue located on Berry Avenue at Geiger Avenue and at Covert Run for a total SD1 cost of $76,918.
- Approved the resolutions to accept $300,000 in ARPA funds and accompanying agreement for US27 and AA Highway Sewer Improvements as well as $15,402,915 in ARPA funds and accompanying agreement for Lakeview EQ Tank.
- Approved the cost-share agreement with the City of Dayton to upgrade a portion of the concrete path at Dayton Riverfront Commons for an amount not to exceed $120,175.
