The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1 Board of Directors held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

1. Acceptance of the September 19, 2023, SD1 Board of Directors meeting minutes.
2. Awarded a contract for design services of the Central Boone County Pump Station, Force Main & Drop Shaft to the lowest responsible bidder, Tetra Tech, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $740,000.
3. Awarded a contract for construction of the Licking River Siphon Conveyance Upsizing Phase II to the lowest responsible bidder, Bray Construction, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $3,555,885.
4. Awarded a contract for the purchase of 15%-16% Peracetic Acid Solution for Western Regional Water Reclamation Facility to the lowest responsible bidder, Chemicals, Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $138,075.
5. Awarded a contract for the task of Plan Review Supplemental Staff Support to the lowest responsible bidder, Strand Associates, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $123,180.
6. Approved two new requests for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
7. Approved the SD1 Procurement Policy Revisions.
8. Approved the Disposal of Surplus Property through public auction once replacement vehicles are received.
