A customer has alerted Sanitation District No. 1 that they received a call from someone claiming to be SD1 and demanding payment or her service would be disconnected. She suspected it was not a legitimate call, and confirmed her suspicions with a call to our Customer Care Department.
Please be aware that SD1 employees will never ask for credit card information over the phone. We use a secure, automated payment system for all over-the-phone payments.
If you receive a call from someone claiming to be SD1 and suspect it is not legitimate, you can easily check your account balance online at my.SD1.org or contact our Customer Care Department at 859-578-7450.
