SD1 Main Office - News Flash

The following action items passed by majority vote during the regular meeting of the Sanitation District No.1 Board of Directors held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

  1. Acceptance of the August 15, 2023, SD1 Board of Directors meeting minutes.
  2. Awarded a contract for design services of the Marcel and Arbor Drive Storm Improvements to the lowest responsible bidder, CEC, Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $116,838. 
  3. Awarded a contract for construction of the St. Nicholas Place Storm and Sanitary Improvements to the lowest responsible bidder, Sunesis Construction, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $496,405. 
  4. Awarded a contract for design services of the Waterworks Phase II (Wildcat Outfall) Sanitary Sewer Upsize to the lowest responsible bidder, CEC, Inc., in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $174,800. 
  5. Awarded a contract for the Licking River Storage Alternatives and Constructability Study task to the lowest responsible bidder, Hazen and Sawyer, in the amount submitted with its bid, for a total of $305,953.
  6. Approved the betterment agreement with KYTC for the construction of the force main portion and upsizing of 560 LF of gravity sewer as part of the KY 536 road improvement project (Phase 1B) in the amount of $1,186,619.88.
  7. Approved one new request for reservation of sanitary sewer capacity.
