District activities are structured to drive involvement and action out in the field. To promote youth involvement, Sanitation District No. 1 partners with scout troops to create tangible results for the environment and water quality. Badges such as the Water Drop Patch, Soil and Water Conservation Merit Badge, and the Save the Planet Badge have been earned through District activities such as our interactive storm drain marking program and the through the District’s field trip: Journey of a Drop of Water.
