The Sanitation District Safety Department believes in an employee based, proactive safety program. Our belief is that our safety initiative should be based on the following principles: Responsibility, Accountability, Involvement, and Employee Ownership at all levels.
We are responsible and accountable for the well being of our employees, our communities, and the equipment to which we work with. We promote a work environment that is safe and free from all known and recognized hazards. Our goal is to provide our employees with the necessary leadership for compliance training, education, equipment, and administrative support.
