9/30/2013Northern Kentucky's Storm Water Management Plan: Second Permit CycleThe Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) details how Northern Kentucky will comply with requirements of the re-issued Phase II Storm Water General Permit, effective September 30, 2013. The SWMP outlines the direction of NKY's storm water management program over the next five years. Content of the SWMP is a result of input and feedback from SD1, co-permittees, and the Storm Water Advisory Council.

This maintenance agreement is for public entities outside the Commonwealth of Kentucky and for all private entities. Three original executed agreements must be submitted with the Land Disturbance Permit application for approval.

4/19/2011Record Management PolicyThis policy defines how Sanitation District No. 1 (SD1) will comply with Kentucky's public records management statutes KRS 171.410-171.748 and the rules and regulations of the KDLA for maintaining, storing, and disposing of public records.
3/22/2011Board BylawsThese Bylaws have been adopted by formal action of the Board of Directors of SD1 effective the 27th day of July, 2010 to assist the Board of Directors in administering, controlling and managing the affairs of SD1. These Bylaws are not intended to restrict in any way the power and authority of the Board of Directors as authorized and enabled under Chapter 220 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes, the Kentucky Administrative Regulations and other applicable law.
7/27/2010Water Disconnection to Tenant-Occupied Premises for Delinquent Storm Water Charges PolicyThe purpose for this billing policy is to provide equitable application of water shut-off to tenant-occupied premises for which storm water bills are overdue. This policy will help SD1 in the collecting of delinquent storm water balances, which supports SD1 in managing its finances efficiently and keeping rates as low as possible.
4/1/2010Phase II Storm Water General PermitSD1 has managed the Phase II Storm Water Program on behalf of the Northern Kentucky region since 2003. The Phase II General Permit governs storm water discharges and water quality across Northern Kentucky. The permit contains requirements for six storm water elements that must be complied with;; these elements include education and outreach, public participation, illicit discharge and elimination, construction site storm water runoff, post-construction storm water management and pollution prevention.
