Applicants must understand that all fees must be paid and that the fees represent the cost of additional demand on SD1's system. 7/24/2013Notice of Termination for Storm Water Permit - ApplicationThis form should be completed by the approved permit holder who is requesting that he/she be relieved of their obligations under the following noted permit. The form must be completed in its entirety and delivered to: SD1, Attention: Andy Aman - Environmental Compliance Administrator, 1045 Eaton Drive, Ft. Wright, KY 41017 or sent via email to aaman@sd1.org. The omission of required items may be cause for rejection of the request without review.
7/1/2013Certified Tapper: Sewer Lateral Abandonment Application and PermitApproval of this application and permit are required when disconnecting from SD1's system. Inspection is required. Call (859) 578-7460 before 4:00 pm to schedule an inspection. Twenty-four (24) hour notice is required for scheduling purposes. A cancellation or change must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled inspection time.
7/1/2013Land Disturbance Permit ApplicationThe Land Disturbance Permit is required for (1) any alteration of the earth's surface where natural or man-made ground cover is altered and for which the applicant has not received a Clearing or Grading Permit and/or (2) the installation of any storm sewer systems (including storm sewer structures and pipes, detention ponds, etc.). The Land Disturbance Permit shall also include activities covered by a Clearing, Grading, and/or Utility Permit if the applicant did not obtain a separate Clearing, Grading, and/or Utility Permit.
7/1/2013Grading Permit ApplicationThe Grading Permit is required for grading activities on a property. Grading activities include excavation, filling, stockpiling, or other earth moving activities, and any combination thereof. The Grading Permit shall also include activities covered by a Clearing Permit. The Grading Permit may include the construction of sanitary sewers and other utility infrastructure (water, gas, electric, etc.); however, such installation shall occur at the risk of the property owner. Should a conflict with these utilities arise during the plan review of the storm water drainage system, the property owner will be required to resolve the conflict while adhering to the District's Storm Water Rules and Regulations. Such a conflict may result in a change in the sanitary sewers and other utilities and may require the installed utilities to be removed at no cost to the District. The installation of storm sewer systems (including storm sewer structures and pipes, detention ponds, etc.) require a Land Disturbance Permit and will not be approved as part of a Grading Permit. A Grading Permit will not be required if the property owner/applicant has received a Land Disturbance Permit for the property covering the same activity.
7/1/2013Clearing Permit ApplicationThe Clearing Permit is required for clearing activities on a property. Clearing activities include stripping and cutting of trees and ground cover and the removal of roots and associated material. The Clearing Permit does not include any earth moving activities, including rough shaping of the site. A Clearing Permit will not be required if the property owner/applicant has received a Grading or Land Disturbance Permit for the property covering the same activity.

10/28/2010Request for Reservation of Sanitary Sewer CapacityThis form must be completed in order to reserve capacity for connections to the sanitary sewer system. For new developments, the Request for Reservation must be submitted prior to or with submittal of the improvement plans for sanitary sewer line extension. For those properties that have not been “placed in service”, as defined in Article 1 of the Sanitary Sewer Rules and Regulations, the Request for Reservation must be submitted prior to applying for a Sanitary Sewer Connection Permit. Reservation of Sanitary Sewer Capacity is subject to SD1 Board of Directors approval. The completed Request for Reservation must be submitted to:

4/1/2010Licensed Sewer Tapper's BondCompanies interested in having their employees become certified tappers must first post a Licensed Sewer Tappers Bond of $5,750. This bond will be used to cover costs for correcting improper taps if not fixed within an appropriate time frame or to complete unfinished work. There is no limit to the number of employees that a company may have certified under this bond.
