The City of Fort Mitchell and SD1 are partnering in a project that involves the reconstruction of Pleasant Ridge Avenue, including the replacement of the sanitary and storm sewers that run along Pleasant Ridge Avenue and behind the houses between Pleasant Ridge and Burdsall Avenues.
SD1 will be renewing the public sanitary and storm sewers and addressing improperly connected or leaking sanitary and storm house laterals that are allowing storm water to enter the sanitary sewers (called inflow and infiltration or I/I) and/or allowing wastewater to enter the storm sewers (called illicit discharges).
This work is required to be completed to eliminate sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs) and improve water quality in the local creeks and streams in order to comply with SD1's Federal Court Order.

Agreement to Conduct Testing
SD1 crews will need to complete internal drain testing and inspection of private laterals in this project area. Residents are asked to sign the Agreement to Conduct Testing form and return it to SD1 as soon as possible so we can complete the testing.
