Jan Steinman has served on SD1’s Board since July of 2004, representing Kenton County and served as President of the Board from July 2007 to June 2009. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a past CFO and President of Provident Travel Service. Currently she is the Chief Financial Officer of Forge Lumber, LLC, a business that her family has been involved in for a number of years.
She has been heavily involved in a number of community activities and served on a number of boards including The Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky, The Children’s Theater Board, the Northern Kentucky Symphony, and numerous roles within The Summit Country Day School. She is currently active with The Children’s Hospital Medical Center and has been involved with fund raising for all the above and more.
She has a keen interest in Northern Kentucky politics and has played an active, behind-the-scenes role, for a number of years.
