The objective of SD1’s procurement guidelines is to obtain goods and services in a competitive and responsive manner, using sound and ethical judgment.

The District is governed by the provisions of Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) Chapter 220 and is required to follow the bidding requirements set forth in KRS 220.290 and KRS 424.260 for the purchase of construction of improvements and of materials, supplies, equipment and services.
